THOMPSON CAPITAL PARTNERS COMPLETES THE ACQUISITION OF METCO METAL FINISHING, LLC

Phoenix, Arizona — Thompson Capital Partners ("TCP") is pleased to announce the completion of the acquisition of Metco Metal Finishing, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("METCO").  METCO is a leading supplier of plating and chemical processing services including:  Anodize Type II, Anodize Type III (Hard), ChemFilm, Passivate, Zinc Rack, Zinc Barrel, Zinc Nickel, and Electroless Nickel. Metco serves a wide variety of industry customers including industrial, semi-conductor, automotive, and aerospace.  METCO has a long history in the plating industry and was most recently a division of Triumph Manufacturing, LLC, an automotive parts supplier based in Phoenix.

Mike Thompson, Managing Partner of TCP commented, “We are excited about making this investment in a premier provider of electroplating services.  Metco will greatly expand the part processing services that we already provide to our aerospace & defense customers through our AID Aerospace portfolio company.  Combining these two businesses will create a full-range supplier of plating and finishing services to our current customer base as well as unlocking significant cross-selling opportunities to an expanded and more diverse customer base."

During 2021, TCP will be making significant capital investments in METCO to improve and upgrade its operating facilities and equipment as well as obtaining aerospace quality system and Nadcap certifications.
